Join Anthony DiLizia in Moving Glastonbury Forward
As a Town Councilor, Army Veteran, and healthcare leader, Anthony has spent his life in service to others. Now he's running to bring that same dedication to Hartford — fighting for lower costs, fully funded schools, and a community where every family can thrive.
Meet Anthony
Anthony DiLizia has built his life around service—to our country, our community, and to the people who too often get left behind. Raised right here in Eastern Connecticut, Anthony served overseas as an intelligence analyst before leading an Army healthcare clinic. Today, he serves as the executive director of a healthcare non-profit to deliver compassionate, affirming healthcare for the LGBTQIA+ community.
Anthony is completing his MBA at the Yale School of Management and is running to make a difference in the lives of Glastonbury families. He lives on Clinton Street with his husband, Kyle, and their dog, Gingersnap.

Anthony's Agenda
Protect CT from Trump's Policies
Washington's attacks on healthcare, education, and civil rights shouldn't determine the future of Connecticut families. Anthony will fight in Hartford to shield our community from harmful federal rollbacks and protect the programs Glastonbury residents depend on.
Deliver Lower Costs for Families
From groceries to gas to housing, the cost of living is stretching Glastonbury families too thin. Anthony will work to cut costs through smart state policy — including energy relief, consumer protections, and support for working and middle-class households.
Fully Fund Our Schools
Glastonbury's schools are a cornerstone of our community, and every student deserves a fully resourced classroom. Anthony will fight for fair education funding so our teachers have what they need and no child's opportunity depends on their zip code.
Support Seniors' Needs
Connecticut seniors have worked hard and deserve to age with dignity, security, and access to quality care. Anthony will advocate for expanded senior services, prescription drug relief, and protections for Social Security and Medicare at the state level.
Defend Women's Rights
Reproductive freedom and women's rights are under attack across the country, and Anthony will make sure Connecticut remains a state where women control their own healthcare decisions. He will stand firmly against any effort to roll back the rights and protections Connecticut women have earned.
Fight for Affordable Healthcare
As the executive director of a healthcare non-profit, Anthony has seen firsthand what happens when people can't access the care they need. He'll bring that experience to Hartford to push for lower premiums, expanded coverage, and a healthcare system that puts patients before profits.
